School Board Recognizes Math Team Achievement

Members of the FMS math team were recognized for placing 1st at the Griffin RESA math competition at the March 2nd school board meeting. The competition challenges students in solving various types of math problems and pitted FMS students against other schools in the region.

Science Olympiad to Compete in State Competition

The Fayette Middle School Science Olympiad team placed fourth in regional competition on February 27, 2010. This gives the team an invitation to compete at the state level held on March 27, 2010 at Augusta State University. Congratulations Team.

REGISTRATION FOR 9^th GRADE CLASSES AND 4 YEAR PLAN

MEETINGS AT F.M.S.

Please plan to attend this extremely important and informative session with F.C.H.S.

Counselors.  Meetings will be held at F.M.S.

You and your 8^th grade student will register for 9^th Grade classes.  

This is the only opportunity to complete a 4 Year Plan for F.C.H.S.

Please look for a postcard to be mailed to you with your student’s appointment time and date. 

 

8TH GRADE STUDENTS VISIT F.C.H.S.

Our 8^th grade students will take a field trip to F.C.H.S. on Friday, May 14^th. 

We will board the busses following homeroom and return at 11 A.M.  F.M.S. Counselors and 8^th Grade Teachers will chaperone.  Additional information and permission forms will be sent to parents at a later date.

 

 

Calling All Mentors Fayette Middle is currently looking for community volunteers to become adult mentors for students here at the school. If you are interested in becoming an adult mentor at FMS, please contact the Guidance Department here at the school or email any one of the counselors by clicking on their names.
